Finally, he let me at it, and I yanked it out.  :)

His note to the tooth fairy:

"Dear T.F. Can you get me your own self portrait and a 2$ bill.  I missed you but not for long.  (When do you come at night by the way) Cooper"

My favorite part is the correct use of parentheses!
