Cooper has arrived!

Stats: Born on Tuesday, Feb 6 (11 days early, if you're wondering), 8:10 p.m. 7 pounds, 4 ounces, 20 inches. Named Cooper Paul Grant.

We made it home, we're adjusting to each other, all is well. Some pictures from the last couple of days:

Getting geared up for a full day in Labor and Delivery.

Bedside internet was a nice distraction.

We made it to the hospital before the weather got bad. This is how it looked most of Tuesday.

The "what shall we name him" conversation.

Holding his boy.

And trying to feed him Diet Coke, already.

Father-son chat. Apparently, during one of these conversations, Cooper told Alan he wants to be an engineer.

Ready to head home.

In the car.

Cooper is quite a handsome little engineer if I ever saw one. But to me, he looks like a writer!

Cooper is adorable. It looks to me like he's considering a career in accounting, however.

He's a handsome little baby. If he's lucky he will grow up to be a couch potato and sponge off his parents till he's 30 :)

I've very happy for you, can't wait to meet Cooper in person.

Cooper is so cute! I love the Diet Coke photo. :-) Cooper and Ellie have the same car seat. I just removed the head pad last week. It's crazy how quickly they grow! Looking forward to chatting soon.

Yay!!! He's just perfectly perfect. You guys look like total pros already. We can't wait to meet him! If he's going to be an engineer, he can marry our Sophie. If he's going to be a writer, then not so much.

I'm so excited for you two. Cooper is really a perfect name. It's an amazing thing to me that there is now a new person in the world, and a pink cute squishy one at that! Sorry.... I am a descendant of my mother, the mush cannot be helped. Anyway can't wait to see the three of you!
