I am so grateful for this post as now Gus doesn't have to come out of the closet as a super-weirdo--I now know that these are normal toddler quirks. Gus will put prized items (bits of tasty food, receipts, straws, kleenex) under his butt. Then pull them out to examine them again (and sometimes eat), and them put them back under his butt. And he doesn't want you to comment on it either. No Sir. This is private, important business.
Trying not to wake up my kids from laughing. Any history of OCD in the family?! jk....
